Tiziano Colibazzi MD PC
Dr. Colibazzi received his medical degree (MD) from the Catholic University of Rome, Italy. After working for the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), he went on to train in Psychiatry at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. He later moved to Columbia University and completed a clinical research fellowship in mood and anxiety disorders. He worked in the Expert Evaluation Service of Columbia University and in the Children’s Hospital of New York, providing consultations in diagnostically complex cases.
A published author, Dr. Colibazzi has presented at national and international conferences. He has received several awards to conduct his research in brain-based biomarkers of psychotic illness. In recognition of his contributions to the field of Psychiatry, Dr. Colibazzi was bestowed the title of Distinguished Fellow, the highest honor for members of the American Psychiatric Association.
Furthemore, he is a member of the American College of Psychiatrists. The College is composed of psychiatrists who have “demonstrated excellence in the field of psychiatry, and achieved national recognition in clinical practice, research, academic leadership, or teaching.”
Dr. Colibazzi is Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University and he provides psychopharmacological supervision for residents during initial clinical evaluations and ongoing care at New York Presbyterian Hospital and New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Dr. Colibazzi is trained in psychoanalysis and is certified by the American Board of Psychoanalysis. He is currently a Training and Supervising Analyst on faculty at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research where he teaches several courses and serves as co-Chair of the Research Committee. He also trained in sex therapy at the New York University (NYU) Program in Human Sexuality and he is a graduate of the Couples Therapy Training and Education Program (CTTEP) at the William Alanson White Institute, where in trained in couples therapy.
Dr. Colibazzi is an active member of many medical associations including the American Psychoanalytic Association, the International Psychoanalytic Association, The Association for Psychoanalytic Medicine (APM), the American College of Psychiatrists and the Society for Sex Therapy and Research.

Dr. Nicole Cirino is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine where she also serves as the Director of the Division of Reproductive Psychiatry. She carries a secondary appointment in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry. She is a fellowship trained Reproductive Psychiatrist with 20 years of academic experience. She specializes in specialty clinical care, education, program development, advocacy and research for women with perinatal, perimenstrual and perimenopausal psychiatric conditions, as well as disorders of female sexual dysfunction. She earned her medical degree at Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine and residency and fellowship at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. She is a certified sex therapist through AASECT and an International Fellow of ISSWSH. Over her career she has founded multiple specialty clinic and education programs. She serves in leadership roles on many national organizations including Postpartum Support International (PSI), American Psychiatric Association (APA), International Society of Reproductive Psychiatrists (ISRP) and International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). She is frequently invited to lecture internationally to multiple different medical specialties.
