ISSWSH INDIVIDUAL MENTOR/MENTEE MATCH PROGRAM
To support our members, ISSWSH has developed a Mentorship Program that facilitates relationships through a formal mentor-mentee matching program. The term “mentor” is used to define the role of an individual with personal and professional experiences that enables them to provide guidance, education, and advice. The scope and focus of mentoring relationships will vary for every mentor-mentee match, as it will reflect the individual needs of each party.
- The ISSWSH Executive Office will serve as the administrator for the Mentor-Mentee match based on the following stated criteria as applicable: Location, Profession, Type of Mentorship Desired.
- No personal information will be shared from the applications until a match has been made and permission given by the Mentee once a Mentor agrees to serve as a mentor.
- After the match ISSWSH is no longer involved in managing the mentor mentee relationship.
- Both parties are expected to act in good faith, behave ethically and professionally, and to disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
*Disclaimer: ISSWSH is not responsible for ensuring a successful mentor-mentee match. ISSWSH is not responsible for anything that takes place after the mentor-mentee match has been made and both parties agree to the exchange of personal information.
